ABSTRACT
This paper discusses grammatical cohesions in Minang language dialogue presented on Padang FM Radio. The grammatical cohesions are references, substitutions, ellipsis, and conjunctions. The use of Minang language lately in media (electronic specially) tend to use written language which is formatted in to oral language. This gives an effect of an awkward language to the native speakers of Minangkabau language who listen to the program. This paper seeks to classify the grammatical cohesions that are used in the “Tungku Tigo Sajarangan”, the Minang language radio program on the Padang FM radio.
